This group of swimmers is our youngest and newest swimmers. They will work mainly on developing their techniques. Their practices are focused on building technique for all four competitive strokes, as well as the techniques of starts and turns. As they progress they will be introduced to workouts using the techniques they have learned. White Team swimmers will be encouraged to attend two to three practices a week and invited to participate in all SEMSL meets. The White Team is coached primarily by Coach Melissa
This group of swimmers is making the transition from an introductory swimmer to a championship swimmer. Their practices are focused on continuing to develop stroke technique and starting a more intense training routine. These swimmers will be expected to be able to read and perform their workouts at each practice. Red team swimmers are expected to attend at 3 practices per week. They are also expected to attend all SEMSL Meets and begin to attend USS Competitions. The Red Team is coached primarily by Coach Melissa.
This group is our highest level of swimmers. This group includes swimmers who are focused on qualifying for the New England Regionals, Age Groups and Northeast Sectional Meets. It is separated into three subgroups (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) based on ability. This group is focused mainly on training with some stroke fine tuning. This group is expected to attend SEMSL meets as determined by the coaches and all USS competitions. The Gold, Silver and Bronze Teams are coached primarily by Coach Justin.
